Disappointing News

Madie has had two severe reactions to her peanut dose in five days. Both required epi-pens and emergency rooms. She is officially withdrawn from peanut study, which is really a blow as we have been participating for almost two years and really felt like it was working. Apparently her body has decided that enough is enough. We will process through this as a family and with God’s guidance, as we do all setbacks. We appreciate all of the support and kindness we have received over the last several days.

Spring Break

Madie is eating 22 dry roasted peanuts a day. She continues to amaze us with her courage. Something that once would could have resulted in a life threatening situation is now common place in our house. She returns to ACH in June for her next follow up. She is also going to the stae Geography Bee at OU on April 3rd, scoring in the top 100 kids in Oklahoma. Way to go Madie.
